At ERC Masoro, we believe no man should live out his faith in isolation. Our mission is to bring all men together through the spirit of family as stated in the church's vision, teaching and equipping one another to be disciples of Jesus Christ who have been transformed to transform others, and great fathers in our families and communities.

The Father’s ministry desires to train fathers to live a balanced life in all aspects of life such as; family, social life, community, and church. The ministry also engages its members in a number of spirit filled activities through small families such as fellowships, prayer retreats, social life encounters, discipleship , mini overnight (two times in a month) and other different activities. Join us as we grow and mature spiritually together to become honorable and righteous leaders in our homes, church and community.

Mother’s ministry is a ministry composed of mothers both young and old and each one learns from the other. Our purpose is to grow in the vision of our church, consecrated to Jesus and fully surrendered to the life of Jesus. Considering the large number of women/Mothers in church, this ministry is composed of small families in which members are able to interact one on one.

This ministry has been called to reach out to one another with the spirit of family praying for and with one another. A number of activities are done through this ministry which include; Prayer session every Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m, fellowship once every two months, forums and discussions around themes chosen as needed, Visits between family members, Agapes, Picnics and Diners.

The youth ministry is organized in two folds: the young adults of the age 19 to 25 years old and the mature adults 26 years old and above. Each group is organized in 12 families.And all families’ leaders plus the leading committee run the ministry in collaboration and under the guidance of the youth Pastor.

Youth Families are the fundamental units for fellowship, prayers, bible studies, exhortations, agape, Professional Dinner, and many more other activities. This is where the youth interact close enough to sharpen and assist each other, in the spirit, emotionally and even with physical materials and beyond.

Teenagers, age 13 to 18 years, fellowship every Sunday morning to worship, minister to God together, and receive the word of God.The teenager ministry is run by facilitators, mainly from the youth and all the prayers, planning, teachings, activities are done by the facilitators under the guidance and collaboration of the Youth Pastor.

At the end of every term (April, August and December) During school holidays, Two to three days Prayer retreats are organized to help teenagers strengthen themselves much more in the Spirit and to interconnect even more.Every last week of the month they have a collective one hour personal morning prayer, and then on the last Saturday, they meet in the afternoon to close the prayer together. However since the covid-19 pandemic outbreak, the teenagers have had their fellowship on Zoom meeting platform and youtube.

The children ministry is run by teachers and the youth. All the prayers, planning, teachings, activities are done by the teachers under the guidance and collaboration of the Youth Pastor. Children, age 3 to 12 years, fellowship every Sunday morning to worship, in what is known as Sunday school. They are categorized into three age groups;

• Class 1: 3 to 5 years old
• Class2: 6 to 8 years old, and
• Class 3: 9 to 12 years old.

They minister to God together, and receive the word of God in a child friendly manner. Since the covid-19 pandemic outbreak, children are sent illustrated lessons through the social media platforms of youtube and zoom and all children are called to be participants of the service.

Our theme as a ministry is to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus as the cornerstone of marriage. The ministry provides married couples with the opportunity to fellowship and learn what God ordained for marriage.

Couples participate in services, teachings, workshops and other activities designed to address different topics faced by couples, such as spiritual life, communication, conflict resolution, finances, parenting, and intimacy, just to name a few. Married along with engaged couples are invited for these events. Emphasis is always placed on the importance of growing our knowledge of God, His Word and building covenant marriage relationship.

Every third Sunday of the month, couples hold their fellowship service and all marrieds and engaged couples are welcome.

Every born again Christian in the world may tell how they met Jesus and accepted Him as their Lord and Savior. In many cases, men and women in all walks of life and ages go out, meet people and tell them the Good News of Jesus and from that day, they surrender all to Him who saved the World from Sin.

Evangelism commission, not only conducts this great commission of Jesus, but also guides the evangelism activities in the church and encourage every born again Christian in the church, to make of evangelism their lifestyle.

The reason being of Discipleship Classes and Commissioning of Disciples is to train and to equip people who accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior through teachings which are categorized into seven stages/ classes. Upon completion of the classes, the graduates are commissioned to be disciples into the world to preach and spread the Word of God. In the last 15 years, discipleship classes changed life and restored broken hearts of many. Disciples were trained and equipped and amongst them, pastors have been commissioned. The classes have a flexible program with an intake of Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday on top of Week-end program. For those who cannot make it to either program, the discipleship department offers a one-on-one special program.

This commission was for social activitiesThe following are the main activities done in social commission:

SOUS COMMISSION Y’IBITARO (HOSPITAL FELLOWSHIP UNIT)
• Visiting sick people in different hospitals located in Kigali city
• Conduct sick fellowship
• Support the poor admitted patience with food, drinks, and hygienic materials
• Pay medical insurance to those who failed to pay the hospital bills
• Visit, comfort, and pray for long home patients (church members, or families)
• Rapid hospital visits for a church members (emergency)

SOUS COMMISSION Y’ABANA/ ABANYESHURI (STUDENTS SPONSORSHIP UNIT)
• Identification of education support beneficiaries from home cells
• Conduct students visit every academic term
• Organize Vocation cancelling, and students fellowship (AGAPE)

SOUS COMMISSION Y’ABATISHOBO (NEEDY SUPPORT UNIT)
• Identification of needy among the church members through home cells
• Listen and solve their appropriate needs with available funds
• Manager emergency issues among the church members (Ingoboka)

SOUS COMMISSION Y’AMASENGESHO N’IVUGABUTUMWA
• Organize and lead commission members in prayer, overnights, and evangelism
• Intercede for needy people related prayer requests

Evangelical Restoration church Masoro Parish intending to accomplish its mission of “Being Restored to Restore”, It decided to partner with Ndera Sector specifically and Gasabo District as a whole in the journey to empower the community surrounding the church in:  Education  Nutrition and Wash  Health Promotion  Economic Strengthening  Business Development and Networking

To be results oriented vis a vis to these initiatives, The church established a a program known as Masoro Community Empowerment (MCE) which shall ensure the implementation of all empowerment activities through the provision of vital projects and service delivery to high-need children, youth, families and individuals with different frailty. To contribute to the achievement of performance contracts (Imihigo) of the Ndera Sector, the church supports the “Girinka Munyarwanda” and sponsors the Community Based Health Insurance “Mutuelle de santé”
